Galaxy Nexus–Battery Life and Case options…
So just a quick note on the performance of the extended battery and the case I purchased for my Galaxy Nexus

This battery and new cover do increase battery life – I have been taking screenshots on days when I run for hours just to give myself an idea of what types of performance I am seeing as you can tell from them it is all over the place based on what I am using the phone for…
As far as cases go I have used several and the Otterbox is by far the best case for this phone.. even thou it does make it even more massive I have determined I can use it for self defense with the Otterbox on it so it serves double duty.
SAMSUNG GALAXY NEXUS DEFENDER SERIES CASE
The interesting part about this case is the screen protector that drove me nuts in the first day and I decided to just remove it. It seems to really dim screen resolution quality and since I really do not need that much protection for how I use my phone, removal was not an issue. Gladly Otterbox makes it very easy to remove. Be warned there is really no going back from removal, other than ordering another case.
This case also does work with the above extended battery installed. Many complain about the rubberized case being to “sticky” I find that crazy talk as I want it to be just that – vs. it flying across my truck when I hit the brakes.
So far my overall impression with the phone is very positive… not so impressed with the camera low light performance thou…which is saldy very normal on most phones I have used.
